Fourth of July, pt 1

Okay folks, here is what's happening. I took something like 200 pictures, so we are going to have a couple installments since I am only allowed to post 5 pictures at a time.
To the left you can see that the water volleyball net was put back up and was one of my favorite parts of the whole week. Comedy abounded with drink breaks and points alike being called by the judges, Matt and Billy, who were often guessing as they were paying very little attention. With something like 20 substitutions through out the game the good guys, aka my team, lost 2 games to 1.

Maria, Charlie and Kathleen rocking out on the boat after our failed attempt to restart the evening boat parade. They don't seem too upset!!

On saturday, we decided we wanted to take a little trip out to the rock island and jump off. So a small crew of us, the Dorf kids, Uncle Kev, Aunt Natalie and Tash, took the beast out. Little Kev and Jess followed us in the paddleboat. In a stealth mode operation to win the race to the rock, that Kev and Jess didn't know we were having, Aunt Natalie took the most important job--keeping our rowers hydrated without making them put down the paddle, while Meg and Tash took turns paddling in the front. This show of teamwork worked out and we won the race, and rewarded ourselves with a relaxing swim in the cove.

Of course, my co-founder, co-president, and most consistant participant in the martini and cigar club at our annual meeting. This picture makes me thirsty :)

Stay tuned, part 2 tomorrow!
