We spent the day (March 22nd), taking Madi and Tae to a few of the Sugar Shacks in our area... It was Maple Syrup Sunday,, ALL of the sugar shacks opened and had fresh warm maple syrup and all kinds of stuff to do and see... Taelor, like father like daughter, hit every mud puddle she could find. She was soo filthy..lol.. It was a little chilly though,, Add Mud, a little snow shower, face painting, animals, vanilla ice cream topped with maple syrup, Maple cotton candy, pretzels dipped in a creamy maple syrup, maple candy, then top it off with a home made pancake supper with fresh warm maple syrup and what do you get ? A couple of wound up kids. Then send'm home to Mom and Dad.. LOL... We had fun. Ricky did say that Tae slept for 12 hours after they put her to bed....
